Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) has announced new initiatives to expand locally manufactured technology, support Saudi startups and strengthen innovation capabilities in the Kingdom.
Unveiled at LEAP 2026, the “Made in Saudi: From Development to Sovereignty” initiative brings together Saudi-made infrastructure, locally developed software and intellectual property, and implementation services from Saudi companies. HPE, Intel and the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology will support the development and deployment of AI and digital transformation solutions.
The initiative’s founding software partners are ShaheenAI, Mozn and OmniOps, while Al-Nahda Computer will support system integration, delivery, customer onboarding and ongoing operations.
HPE also said its local portfolio will expand to include the HPE Alletra Storage MP B10000 and X10000 storage platforms. The company and Alfanar have additionally broadened local server production, including integrated, tested and ready-to-deploy infrastructure systems manufactured in Saudi Arabia.
HPE and Intel plan to establish a Saudi Innovation Center at HPE’s new Riyadh offices. The center will give customers, solution providers, entrepreneurs and ecosystem partners a space to develop, test and validate solutions, while offering technical training and developer support.
According to the announcement, the initiatives are intended to develop local talent, strengthen technology production and help turn Saudi-developed ideas into commercially deployable products in line with Saudi Vision 2030.
