Saudi gaming startup TakaHouse has raised $1.5M in an investment round led by Impact46, according to the announcement.
Founded in 2018, TakaHouse develops games and interactive applications designed to combine entertainment with communication between players.
The company launched its first game, WhistGame, in 2021. The interactive card game has attracted more than 140,000 users to date and has shown strong player retention indicators, the company said.
TakaHouse said the latest investment will support the development of new products and strengthen its position in the local gaming market as it works to expand interaction between entertainment and communication on mobile gaming platforms.
