Saudi Arabia Launches Suhail Accelerator for Space and Dual-Use Startups

Saudi Arabia has launched Suhail Accelerator, the Kingdom’s first program dedicated to space technology and dual-use innovation. The initiative is designed to help international and local startups enter Saudi Arabia and expand across the wider MENA region.

The five-member partnership behind the accelerator includes SEQUENCIVE Holding, ALTAIRI SPACE, acitoflux, Nadir Space Venture and AZO Anwendungszentrum GmbH Oberpfaffenhofen.

Suhail is targeting IP-based, early-stage and high-growth companies with proven, use-case-driven solutions in areas including communications, navigation and Earth observation. Selected startups will receive one-on-one coaching, market preparation support and introductions to customers, investors, strategic partners and government stakeholders.

According to the program website, the global open call is expected to attract more than 500 applicants, with six companies ultimately selected for expansion in Saudi Arabia and the GCC. The program will begin online in January 2027 and conclude with a five-day on-site mission in Saudi Arabia in mid-to-late March, following Eid.

Applications are open to international and local startups until 15 November 2026. Final selections are expected to be notified by the end of 2026.
