stc Bahrain is expanding its managed cybersecurity offering through a partnership with Cloudflare, adding the global security provider’s capabilities to its enterprise and government services portfolio.

Announced during LEAP in Riyadh, the agreement extends an existing relationship between Cloudflare and stc Group into Bahrain. stc Bahrain will integrate Cloudflare’s security architecture into its managed services, enabling the operator to broaden its capabilities without building equivalent infrastructure independently.

The expanded offering is expected to cover protection for websites, applications, networks and internet-based services. The company said the partnership will help customers make digital services safer, faster and more reliable while protecting critical assets against evolving threats.

Specific products, service packages and commercial terms were not disclosed.

The agreement supports stc Bahrain’s wider shift from telecommunications into digital services, with cybersecurity becoming a growing part of its enterprise strategy. It also allows the Bahraini operator to leverage partnerships developed at stc Group level and adapt them for local customers.

Hesham Mustafa, chief business and wholesale officer at stc Bahrain, said the partnership reflects the company’s strategy of strengthening cybersecurity capabilities and helping businesses secure their digital infrastructure and internet services.
