The 2025 Agricultural Entrepreneurship Hackathon has concluded in Amman, showcasing technology-driven solutions to challenges facing Jordan’s agricultural sector.
Organized by the Jordanian Association for Agricultural Entrepreneurship and Innovation, the event brought together participants who presented project models and practical ideas focused on agriculture and sustainability.
The association said it is working with agricultural sector experts and the Jordanian Agricultural Engineers Association to support entrepreneurship, provide technical training and improve employment opportunities in the sector.
The winning projects were announced at the closing ceremony. “Mزرعتي” took first place, followed by the Biodiversity Platform in second place. The Biological Pesticide project ranked third.
The head of the Jordanian Agricultural Engineers Association, Ali Abu Nuqt, said the hackathon supports innovation and helps young people develop technology-based solutions for agriculture.
