Egypt’s Youth Ministry Concludes Green Transition Startup Tour in Luxor

Egypt’s Ministry of Youth and Sports has concluded its awareness tour for a green transition project in Luxor, encouraging young people to develop innovative ideas into sustainable green businesses.

The latest activities were held at the Al Salam Youth Development Center in Esna, as part of the ministry’s tour across Upper Egypt. The event brought together ministry representatives, the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Egypt, initiative facilitators and entrepreneurship trainers.

The project, titled “Empowering Youth for Egypt’s Green Transition: From Idea to Green Project,” introduces young people to available opportunities, training programs and technical support. According to the announcement, the initiative is designed to help participants turn promising ideas into viable projects that address environmental and economic challenges.

The initiative is being implemented by the Ministry of Youth and Sports in partnership with UNDP Egypt and with support from the Government of Japan. It focuses on youth-led green projects and their role in advancing sustainable development and Egypt’s shift toward a green economy.
