The Moroccan Chamber of Commerce in Italy (CCMI) and Italian cooperative banking group Iccrea Banca have signed an agreement to support companies expanding between Morocco and Italy.
Signed in Rome by CCMI President Marouan El Mansoub and Iccrea Banca’s Director of Transactional Banking and Export Credit, Massimo Meliconi, the agreement will help Italian businesses enter and develop activities in Morocco while strengthening commercial links with Moroccan companies.
The partnership also targets Morocco’s community in Italy, supporting new business projects connecting the two countries and the expansion of existing activities in Morocco, according to the announcement.
The two organisations said the agreement will provide companies with access to expertise, business networks and tools for international growth. It covers potential opportunities in sectors including energy, infrastructure, manufacturing, agriculture, automotive and tourism.
The partnership is intended to support greater cross-border investment and commercial activity while deepening economic ties between Morocco and Italy.
