Jordan’s Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship has launched Discover Digital Jordan 2026, a multi-city programme bringing international technology executives and investors together with the country’s startups and digital businesses.
Running through September 9 in Amman, Aqaba and Petra, the initiative is organised through the ministry’s Jordan Source programme. It focuses on artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, software, semiconductors and outsourcing.
The visiting delegation includes 15 executives, investors and business leaders from organisations such as TEDCO, Siemens Digital Industries Software, Singapore Technologies Engineering, Extreme Group, BlockAPT, Silicon Valley Highpoint Capital and Outsource Accelerator. The programme includes company visits and business-to-business meetings with Jordanian technology stakeholders.
According to figures cited by the ministry, Jordanian universities graduate more than 45,000 students each year, with 22% studying information and communications technology. Women represent 51% of those ICT graduates.
The delegation is also scheduled to visit King Hussein Business Park, Aqaba Digital Hub and Aqaba University of Technology. The government said foreign direct investment reached $2B in 2025, up 25% from the previous year. Technology companies can also access sales tax exemptions on IT services and a 5% corporate income tax rate on local profits.
