Wahed has partnered with SEDCO Capital to launch a publicly offered, Shariah-compliant real estate suite focused on Makkah and Madinah, the company announced.
The partnership combines SEDCO Capital’s Saudi real estate expertise with Wahed’s global distribution network and digital investment capabilities. The companies aim to give investors a structured way to participate in the long-term growth of the two cities.
According to Wahed, the initiative supports Saudi Vision 2030 goals around attracting international investment, increasing private-sector participation and developing the country’s real estate and tourism sectors.
Wahed CEO Mohsin Siddiqui said the partnership responds to repeated questions from the company’s global clients about how to invest in Makkah and Madinah. Wahed is headquartered in New York and said it serves more than 450,000 clients globally, with over $2B in assets under management and administration across its entities.
