Dubai SME has recognised government, semi-government and private sector entities for supporting Emirati businesses through the Emirati Supplier Programme.
The programme helped Emirati suppliers secure contracts worth more than AED 1.78 billion in 2025, marking a 38% increase from the previous year, according to Dubai SME.
The recognition took place during Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum’s visit to the Dubai stand at Arabian Travel Market 2026 at Dubai World Trade Centre. Helal Saeed Almarri, Director General of Dubai’s Department of Economy and Tourism, also attended.
Recognised government entities included Dubai Municipality, Dubai Police HQ, Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority, and Dubai Integrated Economic Zones Authority. The semi-government organisations recognised were Dubai Holding, Emirates Flight Catering and Emirates Group.
The private sector recipients were UnionCoop, Majid Al Futtaim’s Carrefour and Emaar Properties. The programme is managed by the Mohammed Bin Rashid Establishment for Small and Medium Enterprises Development, also known as Dubai SME.
