Dar Ventures, the venture capital arm of Dar, has partnered with Plug and Play to expand DarE, a platform supporting technology companies across architecture, engineering, construction and the wider built environment.
DarE has supported 32 startups across four cohorts since its launch, connecting founders with industry expertise, commercial opportunities and investment networks. The partnership will bring Plug and Play’s global network of more than 60 offices, 550+ corporate and government partners, and 10,000+ accelerated startups to the platform.
The next phase will focus on building connections between startups, industry leaders, investors and corporate partners. It will cover areas including construction, infrastructure, artificial intelligence, IoT, smart cities, sustainability and enterprise technology.
DarE will primarily source companies across Europe, the Middle East and Africa, while remaining open to startups globally. The 12-week hybrid program will target pre-seed to pre-Series A companies with a working MVP or market-ready product, early market validation and potential for international growth.
Selected startups will receive expert support, one-to-one mentorship, industry engagement and access to investors, corporate partners and international markets. Applications for the next cohort open on September 24, 2026, with the program scheduled to begin in November 2026.
