Oman National Bank has completed the second cohort of its fintech accelerator with a demo day in Muscat, highlighting six startups developing solutions for payments, wealth management, credit and fraud prevention.
The participating startups were Rushd Capital, Payce, CardO, Cxingularity, Bayzati and Aman. Their products include Sharia-compliant digital wealth advisory, QR-based payment and bill splitting for hospitality, temporary virtual payment cards, AI-supported credit decisions, personal finance management and automated fraud monitoring.
According to the announcement, founders presented their solutions to representatives from the Central Bank of Oman, financial institutions, investors, government entities and other fintech stakeholders.
Across its first two cohorts, the accelerator has supported 11 startups, including five in the first cohort and six in the second. Participants have worked on product validation, pilot projects, strategic partnerships and investor engagement. Graduates have also had access to investment opportunities of up to $1.8M after completing the program.
The bank said the program is designed to support fintech innovation, strengthen Oman’s digital transformation and contribute to the objectives of Oman Vision 2040.
