UAE-based consumer company Amaani has raised $5 million in Series A funding to expand its Middle Eastern beauty brand AÏZA across the GCC. BECO Capital led the round, with participation from Homegrown Ventures and Peak XV’s Surge, taking Amaani’s total funding to $8 million.
Founded in 2023 by Shubham Poddar, Amaani launched AÏZA in December 2024. The skincare and haircare brand draws on regional ingredients and beauty traditions, including dates, black seed, frankincense, rose and bakhoor.
The company will use the new capital to enter Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Qatar while investing in product development, hiring and technology infrastructure. Saudi Arabia is the immediate priority, with AÏZA set to launch at Ulta Beauty locations in Jeddah and Riyadh at the end of September. Kuwait and Qatar are expected to follow in the fourth quarter.
AÏZA previously raised a $3 million seed round in September 2025, led by Peak XV’s Surge. According to the announcement, the brand’s net revenue grew more than ninefold year-on-year in the first half of 2026 as it expanded from a digital-first model into regional retail.
