Saudi investment firm Pinnacle Capital has made an additional investment in alternative accommodation platform Gathern, increasing its ownership in the Saudi startup. The value of the transaction and Pinnacle’s resulting stake were not disclosed.

The investment was made through Pinnacle Growth & Secondary Fund as part of the firm’s strategy of pursuing secondary opportunities in regional technology companies.

Founded in 2016, Gathern operates a marketplace for locally hosted accommodation across Saudi Arabia, including apartments, villas, chalets, farms and camps.

Pinnacle previously invested in Gathern’s $72 million Series B, which closed in August 2025. The round was led by Sanabil Investments, with participation from Endeavor Catalyst, Nuwa Capital, STV and Pinnacle. It valued Gathern at more than $267 million.

The company said the funding was intended to support its local and regional expansion, technology infrastructure and host network. At the time, Gathern reported more than 5 million registered users from 150 nationalities and over 72,000 accommodation units on its platform.

Gathern has also outlined plans for a potential listing on the Saudi Exchange, with CEO Latifah Altamimi previously identifying 2028 as a target for an IPO.
