The Entrepreneurship Center in Oman’s Al Dakhiliyah Governorate held an open day at the historic Jabrin Fort in Bahla, showcasing innovative projects and experiences from entrepreneurs incubated by the center.

The event, organised under the SME Development Authority, Riyada, brought together entrepreneurs, business owners and representatives from the authority. Participants presented their companies, products and services, along with the opportunities and challenges they encountered while developing their ventures.

Issa bin Hamad Al Subaihi, director of Riyada’s Al Dakhiliyah office, said the meeting was part of ongoing efforts to support startups and small businesses, strengthen their capabilities and improve their competitiveness.

The center also highlighted its Al Ejada in Entrepreneurship programme, which focuses on developing entrepreneurs’ managerial and operational skills. It has also arranged field visits to factories and other businesses in the governorate to study successful models and identify opportunities for collaboration, particularly in the tourism and handicrafts sectors.

The event concluded with the governor of Bahla recognising a number of high-performing entrepreneurs and speakers.
