stc Bahrain has selected four local startups as winners of the 13th edition of its inspireU program: PROCODE, Ashumy, StackUp and Barada.
The startups were chosen after 14 Bahraini companies presented their projects during a competitive evaluation process. Judges assessed the ventures based on innovation, market potential and scalability.
The winning startups will receive financial support, intensive training and specialised mentoring from experts and entrepreneurs. They will also have opportunities to connect with partners and investors in regional and international markets, according to the announcement.
Sheikh Ziad bin Faisal Al Khalifa, vice president of government affairs at stc Bahrain, said the program aims to help Bahraini entrepreneurs turn innovative ideas into businesses capable of growth and competition.
Since its launch across the stc Group, inspireU has supported more than 130 digital startups in the region. The program has also helped these companies raise more than SAR1B and contributed to the creation of over 660,000 jobs, according to stc Bahrain.
