Microsoft, UAE Cyber Security Council and Core42 Plan Government Rollout of AI Security Tool

1 Min Read

Microsoft, the UAE Cyber Security Council and Core42, a G42 company, are preparing to deploy Microsoft’s MDASH AI-powered cybersecurity tool across UAE government entities.

MDASH uses AI models and automated analysis to identify software vulnerabilities and prioritise risks. Microsoft is also making the tool available to eligible customers in the UAE, according to the announcement.

The planned collaboration aims to strengthen national cyber resilience and help government security teams respond faster to emerging threats. The UAE Cyber Security Council will support adoption and the responsible use of AI through the National AI Test and Validation Lab.

Core42 will manage onboarding, implementation and capacity building through its Sovereign Public Cloud, operated with Microsoft. It will also connect MDASH to its sovereign controls platform. Microsoft will provide technical expertise and implementation guidance.

The rollout will take place in phases, beginning with awareness sessions, pilot projects, technical workshops and onboarding for government entities.

The partners said the initiative will also help build cybersecurity capabilities across the UAE’s government and wider digital ecosystem.
