Moroccan startup Isharatech has won the i-TECH Award from Inwi during the 18th edition of the Company Program, organized by Injaz Morocco for the 2025-2026 academic year.
Isharatech developed an artificial intelligence-powered platform designed to improve communication for people with hearing disabilities. The solution provides real-time translation between sign language and text or speech, helping sign language users communicate with people who do not know it.
The Company Program gives students at Morocco’s public educational institutions practical experience in building and managing a business, from developing an idea to producing and marketing a product or service. Participants are supported by volunteer professionals throughout the process.
More than 6,900 students from over 120 educational institutions across Morocco took part in the 2025-2026 edition, according to the announcement.
Inwi said the i-TECH Award is part of its efforts to support youth-led projects that use technology to address practical social needs. Its partnership with Injaz Morocco also focuses on strengthening entrepreneurship, digital skills and innovation among young Moroccans.
