Durrah took first place and Edupath came second in the 28th edition of Startup Bahrain’s Startup Tour, an event backed by Bahrain’s Labour Fund (Tamkeen) and supported by the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Board.

The Bahrain event brought together four startups developing digital and technology solutions. Durrah operates a platform for renting and reselling dresses, with features including verified listings, secure payments, deposit protection and AI-supported professional images.

Edupath helps parents choose schools based on factors such as a child’s personality, family budget and curriculum. The other participating startups were Jamaheer, a football platform connecting fans with clubs through live match data, official content and fan engagement tools, and Oberry, a shopping platform that combines short-form video product discovery with instant purchasing.

The startups presented their businesses to a judging panel that included representatives from AlAmanna Capital, Bahrain Fintech Bay, BNVT Capital and Bahrain Mumtalakat Holding Company.

According to the announcement, the event is designed to give entrepreneurs access to feedback and guidance while helping them develop and expand their businesses. Fatima Al Najem of Durrah and Batool Al Abbar of Edupath said the event helped them present their projects and connect with stakeholders in Bahrain’s entrepreneurship ecosystem.
