Two Kuwaiti inventors have been recognized at a Gulf inventors’ ceremony held alongside the Made in the Gulf exhibition and forum in Bahrain.

Fatima Saadoun was honored for i-Shield, an invention designed to reduce exposure to electromagnetic waves from communication and transmission devices while maintaining connection quality and device performance.

Ali Al-Sarraf received recognition for a training simulation device and training ammunition that replicate a weapon’s mechanical movement in a controlled environment. The invention can connect real weapons with simulation systems, extended reality applications and laser-based tactical shooting exercises.

Kuwait’s acting minister of commerce and industry, Abdulaziz Al-Marzouq, praised the inventors’ work, according to Kuwait News Agency. He said the innovations reflected the capabilities of Kuwaiti youth and highlighted the importance of supporting ideas that can deliver social and economic value.
