UAE fintech app Huru has partnered with Paymentology and Bitpanda Enterprise to expand its account and financial services offering.

Paymentology will continue processing Huru’s cards and support the launch of a Huru card on the UAE’s domestic Jaywan card scheme, planned for Q4 2026. Bitpanda Enterprise will enable Huru users to buy, sell and hold digital assets through Bitpanda’s regulated platform.

Huru, which is licensed by the Central Bank of the UAE, said more than 24,000 employers currently pay a combined AED 3 billion in annualised salaries into its accounts. The company has also partnered with nine exchange houses and aims to issue around one million Universal Accounts over the next 12 months.

Universal Accounts are digital accounts held in the user’s name with their own IBAN. They allow users to receive salaries, send money abroad, pay bills, top up mobile phones, save and access card services. Huru also offers Quick Cash for unexpected expenses and supports seven languages.

The company said employers can maintain their existing payroll processes because Huru works with the Wage Protection System, while salary files continue to move through employers’ banks.
