Bahrain’s Labour Fund, Tamkeen, is supporting six local startups participating in the fourth edition of Fintech Forward 2026, held on October 7-8 at the Bahrain International Exhibition Center.

The startups taking part under the Kingdom of Bahrain Pavilion are Tanami, Aman, ARP Digital, Shield Insurtech, Soor and ME Platforms.

The companies are showcasing their solutions while meeting investors, entrepreneurs and fintech specialists. According to the announcement, the participation is also intended to help them build partnerships, expand their networks, track industry developments and explore opportunities in new markets.

The two-day forum brings together financial services innovators, global experts and decision-makers to discuss challenges facing the sector and potential investment opportunities across Bahrain, the region and international markets.

Khalid Al Bayat, Tamkeen’s deputy chief executive for programme design and delivery, said the initiative supports the development of Bahrain’s fintech ecosystem and the competitiveness of its private sector.

He also noted that financial services contribute more than 17% of Bahrain’s GDP. The forum’s discussions focus on practical routes to growth, including stronger integration across financial systems, regulation and technology infrastructure.
