The Faculty of Economic, Commercial and Management Sciences at the University of Algiers 3 hosted a national forum focused on academic entrepreneurship, digital transformation and the development of entrepreneurship in Algeria.
Organized by the university’s Laboratory of Change Management in Algerian Enterprises, in partnership with the University of Algiers 3 Business Incubator and the University of Batna 1 Business Incubator, the event brought together academics, researchers, experts and representatives of entrepreneurship support organizations from across Algeria.
Discussions examined how digital tools can improve the performance of incubators and help universities respond to the needs of the new economy. Key topics included business incubation, innovation, startup financing, intellectual property, entrepreneurship education and university-industry partnerships.
Sessions also explored digital platforms for supporting entrepreneurs, digital finance, venture capital and the potential use of artificial intelligence in university entrepreneurship and innovation.
A practical segment, titled “From University Desks to Entrepreneurs,” showcased student projects and highlighted the role of universities in helping students turn ideas into scalable ventures.
The forum concluded with recommendations aimed at strengthening cooperation between universities, incubators, research centers, companies and entrepreneurship support bodies, alongside the distribution of participation certificates.
