1 Min Read

Dubai has launched GenDubAI, a digital education platform designed to help families understand how children use artificial intelligence and support safer, more responsible adoption of the technology.

Developed by the Dubai Centre for Artificial Intelligence in partnership with the Community Development Authority and Dubai Future Foundation, the platform targets families with children aged 8 to 15. It offers interactive content explaining how AI works, along with its potential benefits, risks and applications in learning and creativity.

Available in Arabic and English, GenDubAI includes activities for parents and children to explore AI together and discuss its use at home. The platform addresses concerns around AI-generated content, data privacy and the reliability of information produced by AI tools.

The initiative is aligned with Dubai Social Agenda 33 and the UAE’s Year of the Family, with a focus on family engagement, local values and cultural identity. Its content is built around “family moments” that can be integrated into everyday life, according to the announcement.

GenDubAI is expected to evolve through new content, tools and educational pathways as AI develops and family needs change.
