Egypt’s Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA) is participating in the Middle East AI Summit, an online event that began on October 10 and runs for one week, according to the announcement.
Organised by Brains Mingle with international and regional partners, the summit brings together around 150 decision-makers, developers and investors, more than 100 speakers, and 81 strategic partners from over 90 countries. Its programme includes expert sessions, panel discussions, workshops and B2B matchmaking.
ITIDA said its participation supports Egypt’s Digital Egypt vision and the National AI Strategy 2025-2030, which targets the creation of 250 AI startups by 2030. The agency is the executive arm of Egypt’s Ministry of Communications and Information Technology for supporting the IT sector.
The summit focuses on practical AI applications across five tracks, including education and skills development, AI in creative industries, turning ideas into scalable and financeable products, decision-making and productivity, and infrastructure for large AI models.
According to the announcement, the event also gives Egyptian startups and talent access to potential investors and customers across 90 countries. ITIDA’s support includes the Creativa Innovation Hubs and incubation programmes with Plug and Play and 500 Global. The agency also works with NVIDIA, whose Egypt ecosystem includes more than 200 startups and 46,000 developers.
