UAE fintech platform botim money has partnered with GCash to let users send funds directly to GCash wallets in the Philippines, expanding digital remittance access for Overseas Filipino Workers across the UAE-Philippines corridor.
Recipients will be able to use the funds for bills, savings, investments and other digital financial services through the GCash ecosystem.
Hesham Sherif, Head of Remittance Business at botim money, said the partnership connects users with a financial platform embedded in everyday life in the Philippines. Jonathan Que, General Manager for GCash International, said direct wallet access makes remittances more seamless and better aligned with Filipino households’ broader financial needs.
According to the announcement, botim money plans to continue scaling priority remittance corridors, including the Philippines, India, Pakistan and Egypt.
