UAE-based healthtech startup Vitalls has secured a $1.5 million investment commitment from Singapore-based EST Growmore as part of its seed round, with an option for a further $1 million investment.
Founded in 2023 by Mehdi Bouchenak, Vitalls is developing an AI-powered digital health passport that allows individuals and families to securely store, manage and share medical records across healthcare providers and countries.
EST Growmore, the investment arm of EST Group, will join the round as an anchor investor. According to the announcement, the investment will support the development and rollout of Vitalls’ platform for internationally mobile individuals, families and enterprises.
The companies will also explore distribution, product development and strategic partnerships across EST Group’s telecommunications and healthcare investment portfolio. The agreement was announced during the Abu Dhabi Future Health Summit and signed by Bouchenak and EST Group Chairman Dr. Sindhu Bhaskar.
Vitalls said its platform is designed to address fragmented health records across clinics, healthcare systems and borders, giving users control over how their information is shared with providers.
