Flat6Labs has partnered with US-based Idealab.ai to bring the platform’s free library of more than 1.2 million AI-generated business ideas to entrepreneurs across its network in the Middle East, Africa and other markets.
Idealab.ai, launched by entrepreneur Bill Gross, said it analyzed more than 17 million sources, including scientific research, patents, company filings, economic articles and community discussions, to generate the ideas. The platform uses 31 business-idea generation methods developed by Gross and evaluates opportunities based on factors such as market need, technology readiness, viability and competition.
Users can search, filter and save ideas, then test and develop them through the platform’s Labs feature. Idealab.ai plans to add tools for finding co-founders, partners and funding. Its initial funding objective is to help connect founders with potential financing worth $100M, according to the announcement.
Flat6Labs founder Ahmed Alfi said the platform could help entrepreneurs and venture builders in the region identify new opportunities and demonstrate how AI can support company creation, not only productivity gains.
Idealab.ai is also working with organisations including Arizona State University, Imperial College London, Caltech, Endeavor, Janngo, the Global Entrepreneurship Network, Cloudflare and Mercury. Cloudflare will provide $100K in technology credits to businesses launched through the platform.
