Saudi Arabia-based proptech startup Ghanem has raised an additional $1.5 million in a pre-seed extension, bringing the round’s total to $8.6 million. The extension was backed by real estate companies and strategic angel investors.

Ghanem’s earlier $7.1 million financing included participation from Al-Romaih Group, while Waad VC has also invested in the company.

Founded in 2025 by Saleh Waheed Al-Ghamdi and Amr Essam, Ghanem operates a fractional real estate ownership platform for individuals and institutions. Its opportunities provide access to income-generating Saudi properties, with investments starting at SAR 1,000, depending on the opportunity.

The company said it will use the new funding to develop its product, expand its property investment opportunities and build strategic partnerships.

Ghanem has issued digital ownership deeds to 580 individuals who participated in its first income-generating property investment opportunity. It also said it has begun distributing rental income without payment disruptions and now has thousands of registered users.

Its integration with Saudi Arabia’s Real Estate Registry is live, enabling fractional ownership interests to be registered and digital deeds to be issued in investors’ names. Ghanem also operates its fractional ownership product within the Real Estate General Authority’s regulatory sandbox.
