Qatar-founded EdTech startup BuzzGage is preparing to open a new investment round after reaching more than 350,000 students represented on its platform, the company said.

The Doha-based startup measures student wellbeing, engagement and behavioural development. It currently serves more than 10 education systems, with its platform available in Arabic, Turkish, English and French.

BuzzGage has also localized its evidence-based research into Ukrainian as it explores engagement with Ukraine’s education system. The company said this is an early step toward supporting schools operating in a challenging environment.

The planned funding round is intended to support BuzzGage’s next stage of growth as it expands beyond its core markets. Further details are expected to be announced in the coming months.

The company’s progress adds to the visibility of Qatar’s EdTech sector, particularly in student wellbeing, engagement and evidence-based educational development.
