Jeddah is set to host the sixth Hajj Conference and Exhibition from November 8 to 11, bringing together more than 520 government, private-sector and nonprofit entities from over 150 countries.
Organised by Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Hajj and Umrah in cooperation with the Guests of God Service Program, the event will support early preparations for the 1448H Hajj season. The accompanying exhibition will cover more than 67,000 square metres.
The exhibition will provide a platform for service providers, government bodies, pilgrims’ affairs offices and solution companies to showcase products, technologies and initiatives, discuss operational needs, complete contracts and build partnerships.
Its focus areas include transport and logistics, infrastructure and facilities management, accommodation and hospitality, food services, security and safety, healthcare, media, technology, innovation, entrepreneurship and training.
The sixth edition will feature more than 15 zones and programmes, including the Hajj Conference, Hajj Council, workshops, an entrepreneurship and innovation zone, a hackathon area, a business centre, and technology, health, media and aviation hubs. A dedicated awareness and training forum will also be introduced for the first time.
According to the announcement, the event will be organised around three tracks: infrastructure and operations, empowerment and integration, and development and sustainability.
