Applications are now open for the third cohort of HEYA – Women in Innovation, a Jordan-based program supporting women entrepreneurs as they develop home-based businesses and startups into scalable, sustainable companies.
The program is open to women aged 18 to 55, including Jordanian women and Syrian refugees, with a focus on entrepreneurs in rural and underserved areas, low-income households, and early-stage ventures. Applicants must be the lead founder and submit the application themselves.
Participants can apply through two tracks: home-based businesses, or startups and entrepreneurial ventures in the growth stage. Eligible startups must have at least one female lead founder, generate revenue and offer an innovative product or service rather than a traditional business.
Selected participants will receive specialised mentoring, business development support and networking opportunities. They will also have the chance to compete for funding of up to €15,000.
The application requires information about the business, its customers, market need, competitors, revenue sources, sales and previous funding. The organisers said completing the form takes about one hour, provided applicants have the necessary business documents and information.
