The “Made in Syria” festival has brought together 50 Syrian companies at the Barzeh Complex in Damascus, giving local manufacturers a direct sales channel and offering discounts of up to 50% on locally made goods.

Organized by the Damascus and Damascus Countryside Chamber of Industry with the Damascus branch of the Syrian Trading Establishment, the festival runs through November 12. It features products from the food, chemical, textile and engineering sectors, including cleaning products and cosmetics.

According to the chamber, direct factory-to-consumer sales reduce the role of intermediaries and can help lower prices. Discounts on participating products range from 30% to 50% compared with market prices.

The chamber said it is considering holding future editions in other Syrian provinces to expand marketing opportunities for local manufacturers and reach more consumers. The festival is part of broader efforts to create additional sales outlets and strengthen the position of Syrian goods in domestic markets.
