Prince Mohammed Bin Salman College of Management and Entrepreneurship led the second International Entrepreneurship Research Conference (IERC 2026), held in Cairo from October 26 to 28, 2026.

The college co-founded the conference with the Babson Global Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership. Hosted at the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport in Smart Village, the event focused on entrepreneurship, family businesses and sustainable innovation.

The conference brought together researchers and experts from around the world to examine opportunities and challenges facing emerging economies, according to the announcement. Organisers said the event also aimed to strengthen international research collaboration and support evidence-based policymaking.

Its scientific program covered six tracks, including entrepreneurial behaviour and opportunity discovery, social and sustainable entrepreneurship, women’s entrepreneurship, digital entrepreneurial ecosystems, family businesses, and public policy.

The agenda featured research presentations, specialist sessions, discussions on women’s entrepreneurship and family businesses, and meetings with academic journal editors. The event concluded with awards for the best research papers.

The third edition is scheduled to take place in Istanbul on April 29 and 30, 2027. Jeddah is set to host the fourth edition from March 12 to 14, 2028.
