GymNation has launched the GymNation Foundation, a three-part initiative supporting early-stage health and wellness businesses, athletes and community organisations.
Its main programme, The First Rep, will invest BHD 100,000 directly in early-stage companies working across fitness, wellness, health and technology. The programme is open to founders at the idea, prototype and scaling stages in the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and Thailand.
Selected founders will pitch to GymNation’s leadership team and receive hands-on support, along with access to the company’s community of more than 200,000 members for research, product testing and growth. Areas of interest include recovery, nutrition, mental wellbeing, sports technology, wearables, member experience and digital health.
Applications are free and open until February 2027. The process includes an online application, review, pitching and investment.
The Foundation also includes a Community Support pillar for charities, non-profits and public wellbeing organisations, as well as an Athlete Program offering free or subsidised training, coaching and financial support. According to the company, GymNation has donated more than BHD 120,000 to charities across the region since opening its first club in 2018.
