SC Ventures, the investment arm of Standard Chartered, and Japan’s SBI Group have invested in UAE-based Soter Insure as part of the second closing of the company’s Series B funding round.

The round was led by Galaxy and also included follow-on backing from Token Bay Capital, which invested in Soter Insure’s Series A. The first Series B closing, announced in July 2026, included Coinbase Ventures, Franklin Templeton and Brevan Howard Digital.

Founded in 2024 by Henson Orser and incubated by Further Ventures and WebN Group, Soter Insure provides insurance products for financial institutions operating in the digital asset sector.

According to the company, the funding will support expanded insurance capacity, stronger underwriting and technology capabilities, and growth across Asia-Pacific, Europe and the United States.
