The Abu Dhabi Real Estate Centre (ADREC) and Hub71 have signed a two-year memorandum of understanding to connect technology startups with challenges in Abu Dhabi’s real estate sector.
Signed at LIVEX 2026, the agreement creates a framework for startup referrals, solution validation, potential pilot projects and business opportunities. ADREC will identify sector challenges and work with Hub71 to match relevant startups with opportunities to test their products.
ADREC will also refer startups from its network to Hub71 programmes and contribute real estate expertise to the selection process. The partnership is intended to help founders develop solutions aligned with regulatory and industry requirements, while giving ADREC access to emerging technologies and talent.
The collaboration covers more than pilots. The two organisations will explore joint events, workshops, mentorship and knowledge-transfer initiatives, with ADREC able to introduce specialists from its network to support Hub71 activities.
“Technology is central to how Abu Dhabi’s real estate sector grows and stays competitive,” said Rashed Al Omaira, Director General of ADREC.
Hub71 CEO Ahmad Ali Alwan said working with government and sector stakeholders would allow startups to test their technologies against practical use cases and refine their solutions with a clearer path to adoption.
