AI LaunchLab Opens Applications for 2026 Startup Incubation Program in Syria

AI LaunchLab, the incubation programme run by HIAST-CIE in Syria, will open applications on August 5 for its 2026 cycle. The programme is designed for early-stage ideas and startups, using artificial intelligence tools to help teams validate problems, build prototypes and test with real users.

The free, equity-free programme will select 16 teams for eight weeks of intensive incubation, followed by three months of support. Participation is available from Damascus and Aleppo, as well as remotely, and is open to Syrians inside and outside Syria. At least 30% of places are reserved for HIAST students and alumni.

Applicants can enter through an idea track, focused on validating a problem, customer and solution, or an early-stage project track for teams with a prototype, early users or limited sales. The programme requires a minimum 85% attendance rate and includes a three-day launch hackathon. Eight teams will take part in the final showcase.

AI LaunchLab said it does not take equity or guarantee funding. It aims instead to prepare teams for market testing and connect them with potential support, incubation and investment organisations.
