Algeria’s National Coordinating Committee for University Innovation and Entrepreneurship has extended applications for the second edition of the ProtoMarket national challenge until August 31, 2026.

The exceptional extension responds to requests from student innovators who missed the earlier deadline, according to the committee. It is intended to give more students with innovative ideas and promising prototypes the chance to apply.

Eligible projects can receive funding of up to 200 million centimes, along with specialised technical and commercial support and guidance from experts and partners.

ProtoMarket is designed to support student projects from the idea and prototype stages through to market entry, helping promising university initiatives develop into market-ready products and startups.
