Arab Therapy Partners with King Abdulaziz University to Boost Campus Mental Health

Saudi-based digital mental health company Arab Therapy has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with King Abdulaziz University in Jeddah. The agreement aims to integrate digital psychological support services into one of the Kingdom’s top academic institutions, providing students and staff with access to professional mental health resources.

Integrating Digital Wellness into Saudi Academia

The partnership formalizes a collaboration between Arab Therapy and the university’s King Fahd Medical Research Center. It stems from a shared goal to establish psychological well-being as a key component of academic success and productivity, directly supporting Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 objectives for healthcare and human capital development.

The MoU was officially signed by Dr. Tariq Asim Rushdi Dalbah, CEO and Co-Founder of Arab Therapy, and Prof. Amin bin Youssef Mohammed Al-Nu’man, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research at King Abdulaziz University.

A Multi-Faceted Approach to Campus Well-being

Under the agreement, the two organizations will cooperate on several key initiatives. They plan to conduct joint mental health research, producing scientific papers backed by the King Fahd Medical Research Center.

The partnership also provides for confidential digital psychological support sessions for the university community through the Arab Therapy platform. Additionally, it includes awareness workshops on topics like stress management and burnout prevention, the creation of a student-led “Mental Health Ambassador Unit” to promote awareness on campus, and the joint production of informational content.
