Benha University has concluded the Benha Founders entrepreneurship and innovation forum, organised by its University Center for Career Development in partnership with Banque du Caire as part of World Youth Day activities in Egypt.

The forum brought together specialists, entrepreneurship support organisations, students and young people interested in launching businesses. According to the announcement, the programme focused on helping participants move from developing an idea to planning and executing a project.

Sessions covered feasibility studies, business and work models, legal procedures, registration and licensing, financial analysis, financial inclusion, funding options and non-financial services, including the Rowad Nile programme.

The event also featured the Micro Business Game, an interactive workshop that simulated business management. Participants practised decision-making, cash-flow management, responding to market risks, identifying business opportunities and improving profitability.

The university said the forum also introduced training and career preparation opportunities, some of which may lead to employment for high-performing participants. Banque du Caire provided information on financial inclusion, account opening and banking services.

University President Nasser El-Gizawy said supporting young people and promoting entrepreneurship and innovation are among the university’s priorities. The centre’s director, Sahar Abdel Rahman, described the forum as a practical example of cooperation between the university, banking institutions and organisations supporting youth.
