Bloomberg has expanded its presence in Saudi Arabia with the opening of a new office at the King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD) in Riyadh, extending a local operation that began in 2007.
The company provides services to banks, asset managers, sovereign wealth funds and government institutions in the kingdom. Bloomberg President Jean-Paul Zammitt said the new office would strengthen collaboration with clients and support the company’s long-term investment in Saudi Arabia.
Building on a memorandum of understanding signed with the Financial Academy in October 2025, Bloomberg also announced the launch of the Bloomberg Financial Lab and Bloomberg Financial Pathways. The initiatives are designed to support the development of national financial skills.
Bloomberg said it will also work with Turquoise Mountain on programs focused on preserving traditional crafts while developing professional and entrepreneurship skills, particularly for women in Saudi Arabia.
A new collaboration fund with global nonprofit Synergos will support social entrepreneurs through joint projects and capacity-building programs. The initiative will focus on entrepreneurship, economic opportunity and social innovation.
The announcements were made during a Bloomberg event in Riyadh that featured products from the Bloomberg Terminal and showcased the company’s latest data, analytics and technology capabilities.
