C3 – Companies Creating Change has opened applications for C3 EmpowerHer, a six-month accelerator for women-led and women-benefitting climate resilience ventures across MENA.
The program is open to pre-seed to pre-Series A startups with an MVP, early traction and operations in the region. Eligible companies should address climate resilience, with focus areas including water and sanitation, food and agriculture, heat resilience, coastal and flood adaptation, nature-based solutions, infrastructure, sustainable livelihoods and climate finance access.
Starting in October 2026 and running through Demo Day in Q2 2027, the program will provide 30 startups with expert-led workshops, one-to-one mentorship, strategic guidance and access to C3’s investor and ecosystem network.
The top 10 startups will share $150,000 in catalytic grant funding, receiving up to $20,000 each for pilots and impact initiatives. They will also receive advisory support and the opportunity to showcase their ventures to investors at an in-person Demo Day in Egypt.
Applications close on August 31, 2026, with reviews conducted on a rolling basis. The program is funded by the Resilient Futures Fund, managed by 2X Global and supported by Amazon, Reckitt, the Skoll Foundation, the UPS Foundation and the Visa Foundation.
