Based within the university’s Technology Incubators Office, the incubator provides training, technical support, business development, intellectual property guidance, and product marketing support. Its focus is on helping students, graduates and entrepreneurs turn ideas into locally produced furniture and interior design products with Egyptian identity.

According to the announcement, the incubator aims to strengthen local production and create opportunities for investment and exports. Its support also includes digital training camps, engineering and design consulting, and assistance with developing business models and prototypes.

The first cohort included C.Vision Studio, PUZZLE BOND, Selena’s, FOLK GAMES and Clear Designs. The second included Nada Wood Line, Sarah Innovations, Sk, Nefer Siwa, Metail and Rivo. Modura Studio, Lean Experts, Moduluxe and Woodu joined the third cohort.

The programme operates with support from the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology’s Intilaaq national technology incubator programme. The university said the initiative is designed to connect academic knowledge with industrial applications and market needs.
