Cash Plus and Damanesign have partnered to expand access to qualified electronic signature certificates in Morocco, starting with 13 Cash Plus agencies across 11 cities.

Cash Plus will serve as a delegated registration authority, allowing companies, public institutions and regulated professionals to submit applications, complete identity checks and collect secure USB keys containing certificates issued by Damanesign.

The certificates can be used for processes including customs declarations through BADR, public procurement, Rokhas and GID Fournisseurs. The initial network covers Agadir, Casablanca, Dakhla, Fez, Kenitra, Laayoune, Marrakech, Nador, Oujda, Rabat and Tanger.

The service is available to companies of any legal form, public institutions, professionals such as notaries, experts and lawyers, as well as import-export operators.

Cash Plus will manage in-person onboarding through its branch network, while Damanesign will remain responsible for issuing the certificates and meeting compliance requirements. The arrangement operates under Morocco’s Law 43-20 on trust services for electronic transactions.

Damanesign is approved by the Directorate General of Information Systems Security (DGSSI) to issue qualified certificates for electronic signatures and seals. According to the announcement, the partnership is designed to make the process more accessible while preserving verification and security standards.
