Saudi technology company CASHIN has signed a strategic partnership agreement with Syria’s Ministry of Energy to develop and operate a national digital platform for petroleum products, under the supervision of Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Energy.

The platform will connect operational and financial processes across the petroleum products value chain, supporting an integrated model that spans “from the field to the bank,” according to the announcement.

CASHIN said the project will go beyond building a technology platform. It aims to use automation and artificial intelligence to bring operations and data into a unified environment designed to improve governance, transparency and operational efficiency.

The partnership also includes knowledge transfer and technical capacity-building for Syrian staff. CASHIN said its team will work with Ministry of Energy specialists to support the platform’s long-term sustainability and future development using national expertise.
