Dubai-based fitness technology company Enhance has raised $18.2 million in a round combining equity and venture debt, as it accelerates its expansion in the US. Global Ventures participated in the equity financing, while Stride Ventures provided the debt.

Founded in 2018 by Tarek Mounir, Enhance began as a personal training services business before developing software for multi-site gym operators. The company operates across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain and the US, with Saudi Arabia described as its fastest-growing market outside the US.

Enhance said the new funding will primarily support its US growth. Its enterprise software has been licensed there since January 2025 and is now used across more than 700 clubs, including Crunch Fitness, In-Shape Family Fitness, UFC Gym and PureGym USA.

The platform supports 15,000 personal trainers and more than 500,000 booked personal training sessions each month, according to the company. Revenue has grown at a 65% compound annual rate since 2019.

Enhance aims to become the operating platform for personal training services, helping gym groups manage trainer operations and scale the business across locations.
