Dubai Startup AskIt Launches AI Sales Agents That Negotiate Deals for Businesses

The platform gives businesses in the UAE and Saudi Arabia AI-powered sales agents that operate across websites, WhatsApp, phone and other channels, with the ability to negotiate prices, delivery terms and product bundles within limits set by each business.

Dubai-based AI startup AskIt has launched a platform that enables businesses in the UAE and Saudi Arabia to deploy AI sales agents across multiple customer channels, including websites, WhatsApp, phone calls and QR codes in physical stores.

The agents are designed to learn a company’s product catalogue, pricing, stock availability, delivery terms and policies before handling customer enquiries and sales around the clock. They support Arabic, English and other languages.

AskIt’s platform also aims to bring business sales agents into AI-powered shopping experiences. Through a planned ChatGPT integration, shoppers will be able to ask ChatGPT for product recommendations and deals, while the AI assistant communicates directly with a business’s AskIt agent.

The agent can check stock, compare products and negotiate discounts, faster delivery or bundled offers within parameters established by the business. If a transaction requires human involvement, the conversation can be handed over to staff with its history.

AskIt said its ChatGPT app is currently in final review with OpenAI and is not yet generally available through the platform.

“Shoppers already ask AI what to buy. The next step is AI asking businesses for a better deal, and most businesses have no one there to answer,” said Andrew Nemolyakin, founder of AskIt.

The company is targeting businesses of different sizes, from independent retailers to national chains, with a pricing model that does not require an upfront setup fee. Instead, AskIt charges a 2% commission on sales generated by its agents.

The launch comes as the UAE and Saudi Arabia continue to advance their national digital transformation and AI strategies. AskIt is positioning its platform as a way for everyday businesses to adopt AI-powered sales without building their own technology infrastructure or hiring additional staff.

AskIt is based in Dubai and is developing AI agents for sales, customer support and negotiations across digital channels and AI assistants.
