Egypt’s New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA) is offering nearly 99 investment opportunities to local companies through its digital Investor Services Portal, while receiving around 204 applications from foreign firms during August 2026, according to the Ministry of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities.

The opportunities are available from the first to the 15th of each month through NUCA’s Egyptian and foreign investment platforms, with pricing in Egyptian pounds or foreign currencies. Land areas range from 500 square metres to more than 39 feddans and support uses including commercial, medical, educational, hospitality, tourism, logistics, sports and mixed-use developments.

Sites are available across new cities including New Cairo, New Damietta, New Salhia, Obour, New Obour, Badr, 15th of May and New Qena, alongside other locations in Upper Egypt and across the country.

NUCA is also upgrading its digital investment platform to cover the full process, from publishing maps and technical documents to electronic applications, evaluation and final decisions. The authority said the system is intended to reduce paperwork, shorten processing times and standardise procedures across new-city authorities.
