The National Council for Women’s Beheira branch has delivered 12 entrepreneurship training sessions for 300 women across villages in Egypt’s Beheira governorate, as part of the National Project for the Development of the Egyptian Family.

Each session included 25 participants and focused on building skills to launch and manage small businesses. The program aims to strengthen women’s economic independence and expand their participation in local development, according to the announcement.

The trainings were held in villages across the Rashid, Damanhur, Itay El Baroud, Nubariya, Kafr El Dawwar, Wadi El Natrun and Housh Issa areas. The initiative is part of a nationwide program led by the National Council for Women to support women’s economic empowerment, particularly in villages covered by the Haya Karima presidential initiative.

Beheira Governor Jacqueline Azer said such programs can help improve living standards and strengthen women’s role in development by improving their ability to establish and manage small enterprises.
